MMA News Bulletins
i thought it would be a good idea to put the latest MMA news that comes out daily into a thread to keep those interested upto date, if you come across some developments of interest stick them in here.
Sanchez is out of 135 against Hughes due to a broken hand, Josh Koscheck has offered to step in pending Hughes saying yes
Alistair Overeem and Brock Lesnar will square off in a 'whose over hyped the most' fight on Dec 30
UFC will hold an event in Japan in Feb next year
give everything you have and a little more
Re: MMA News Bulletins
Great idea this rory, maybe Adam could stick this for future updates?
How exciting is Overeem vs. Lesnar? The 2 most muscular guys in the heavyweight division squaring off, its going to be amazing. And if its main event, it will be a 5 round contest.
Koscheck and Hughes could either be a snooze fest, or an exciting chess match of wrestling take downs.
Also announced late afternoon yesterday was Clay Guida v Ben Henderson on the premiere showing on Fox (well the undercard). I'm pretty certain that this will be to determine the number 1 contender after the UFC136 fight between Edgar and Maynard.
Some really good fights cropping up over the past few weeks, the UFC are really delivering at the moment and giving the fans exactly what they want to see.

Also yesterday, Ross Pearson tweeted saying he was considering a drop to 145.
"I will do a test run an keep u all posted on how I do at making 145lbs," he tweeted. "Need to sit down speak to UFC and coaches see what they think."

Clay and Bendo have cardio for 10 rounds! That will be an amazing fight.
nice update on Pearson, i wasn't aware of that, id like to see one more at lightweight though, his last fight could have arguably gone his way and in a lot of peoples opinion would have if it wasn't in Brazil.

Re: MMA News Bulletins
i dont think it is an over reaction, apparently they booked numerous flights for him costing the company $15,000 dollars, and nobody can get hold of him, not even his manager/trainer

Penn vs Diaz at UFC 137, going to be a war.
A mad turn of events this, but still going to be an absolute war. Both good on the feet, and both amazing on the ground...should be an interesting fight this.

Re: MMA News Bulletins
Its got the potential rory, thats for sure. Like you, I wanted Diaz to beat GSP and think he could of, but he would of been getting a substantial amount of money to help promote such a big fight, and he blew it. As Dana White said, 'He has to play the game.' If he wants to be the best in the world, he has to do all the commerical and appearance commitments that come with it.
