Dolce Diet
Re: Dolce Diet
he also fought (got his ass kicked) on TUF 7, basically you pay him and he writes you up a personal diet, its nothing revolutionary. It was mocked for quite a while on the net with joke statements in the same vain as the Chuck Norris ones i.e started the Dolce Diet this morning and lost 15% bodyfat already....
give everything you have and a little more
Re: Dolce Diet
His diet is actually very similar to the Paleo diet from what I've heard him say on TapouT radio. Eat natural, organic foods and avoid 'processed' stuff entirely. Drink lots of water, snack on fruit and nuts etc etc. Simple stuff. Very effective if your diet is crap.

Re: Dolce Diet
Should this be moved from the training forum to the nutrition/diet section for more people to see it?..or is it mostly applicable as a training tool for fighters?

Re: Dolce Diet
He's meant to really know his stuff, I dont' know much about his diet but the clients he has make me believe he's for real.

Hi Brun, any feedback yet on what his diet plan is and how it works. You tried it yourself yet?

Re: Dolce Diet
i stick to it as best i can, at least the principles of it, his core belief is basically eat as fresh and organic etc as you can, try and avoid processed crap full of preservatives and E number etc, stay well hydrated etc
its NOT a diet, its basically a healthy approach to eating, guiding you with info and recipes on how to go about your daily life
ive tried a few recipes now from the Living Lean Cookbook and they are great, highly recommended, made the power pasta sauce today and the turkey meatballs, and jesus they are so damn good and not a single bit of crap in them, ive froze 9 in some sauce to have at a later date and ill be having some tomorrow for my lunch and pre training
one of his taglines is 'make calories count', its a twist on the cheat meal phrase we all speak about, but he says if your gonna have your cheat meal, have you put in the work to earn it or are you just having that chinese because its Saturday ?
he is worth a follow on YouTube as he does his Q&A and some recipes etc etc
the one thing i like about him is he doesnt get too technical with everything, he gives you a basic bit of advice on something but doesnt go into a load of stuff you wont remember or understand, he keeps good nutrition simple and easy
