Hi Adam, What a day!!
All the guys lucky enough to be there will be in agreement that this was a truly momentous occasion. I also have to extend my gratitude to the guys at Fighters Only, Fightshop and Wolfslair who were all present to support us in making this day as successful as it was.
Cheick and Ian are two of the most genuine,not to mention funniest guys i have had the pleasure of meeting and Ian even stayed behind after hours to talk to his many fans. Cheick had to leave unfortunately to participate in an interview arranged by the UFC.He reluctantly he had to be dragged away as he was having such a good time! I have inserted a link with some pics.

If you did'nt make it into the Manchester store on saturday dont worry!.Due to the success of this event we have many more of these days planned for the future with various fighters in our other stores. I dont want to give too much away just watch this space!!
I would also like to say that the Tapout Fighters Only tee does actually look as good in the flesh as in the pics. I was'nt sure how good it would be as these tees are brand new designs and i had'nt seen them until saturday but i was'nt dissapointed. If you would like to see just how good quality these tees are- premium quality cotton with foil accents, we now have these on sale in all Bodyactive stores alongside the latest edition of Fighters Only magazine.
Finally i would just like to hear off anyone who was lucky enough to go to 105 on saturday, just so it makes me jealous!? I could have kicked myself, waited to long before trying to buy a ticket and when i did all the decent seats had gone!!!!

Wow, looked like a truly epic event Gav! Great publicity for not only the store, but I know first hand and from working with Mike over the summer, that you truly put a lot of hard work in for the MMA side to take off and your enthusiasm and effort has obviously been rewarded, Gav .
As you can see I've now created the MMA section with the directions the store's and company is going towards. Hopefully you can play a big part in getting this up and running substantially Gav and it would be awesome if we can get in touch with top class fighters in the future and get them online, posting away right here interactively with the fans!
I will put a lot of effort myself into promoting this aspect online between now and the future, exciting for all involved with the company, staff and customers alike.

yeh sounded like a real epic day.unfortunatly i work in the bolton store and had to man the shop there.but got a good review of the day from the other lads who went down to help. all credit to gav for the hard work he put it really paid off and hopefully we can do more days like this in the future.think there's a few picks and write up on fighters only website so check that out.
again well done gav and i'm sure if anybody has any question about mma product or supplements feel free to ask any of us or get down to any of the shops to check out all the new mma gear and clothing. definatly worth checkin out

hi i worked in machester the day that cheick kongo and ian freeman were down and i was amaised how many people came on that day.the atmosphere was buzzin along with the shop bein full to its potential.cheick was a very nice guy down to earth and had a funny side to him along with freeman being the same both being very nice guys.cheick had to go early and freeman stayed to carry on signing.Made for fighters were there to with Rob who brung along posters to give with there tops which are on sale now in all Bodyactive stores.Well done to gavin the manager at bodyactive bolton for arranging this different but exciting day which i thort was a good day for everyone.Hope to experience more days like this .

Sounds excellent guys. I'll be speaking to Mike in the future I'm sure to see what we can do online to help make these promotions more successful.
