Question | Hi Guys, I m currently trying to shed the spare tyre and some other excess fat, i m currently using Grenade fat loss tablets along with trying to eat 1700 Calories per day along with Maximuscle Promax shakes, would taking creatine help with the fat loss Forgot to mention I play football 2-3 times per week along with Cardio sessions in the gym for the other 2-3 days. Cheers |
Answer | Hi Chris
The reduced calorie diet and grenade will certainly help with the bodyfat loss by ensuring you are in a state of calorie defecit thus burning stored energy to fulfill the defecit. Taking creatine alongside your current supplement routine would not provide any real benefit in terms of reducing bodyfat levels, creatine can retain water which can make the weekly weigh in mis-leading as despite burning fat you can gain water (water retention) whilst taking creatine. It is great for strength increases. If you are looking for another advantage to assist with bodyfat loss opt for a time release protein shake such as peptide fusion, GRS-5 or myofusion. These shakes are mostly protein similar to promax but take much longer to digest so will keep you feeling full in between meals, before bed and etc. |

Question | Hi guys, I was just wondering, is there any real difference between using this product and the Reflex Creapure Capsules or are they exactly the same other than the fact one is a power and the other capsules Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas! |
Answer | Hi Michael
Firstly Merry christmas to yourself, we hope you had a good one and enjoy the new year! There is no difference at all between the capsules and powder, the capsules are dosed at 700mg of creatine per capsule and the powder is pure creatine monohydrate powder. |

This stack will work effectively, however to lose fat, you need to consciously keep track of your calories to maintain consistent progress. Make sure you check our forum for the fat loss fundamentals thread in the Fat Loss section - there is some excellent advice on there to help you get shedding through your plateau. |

Question | Hi I started taking Reflex Creatine about 5 days ago,but i am also in the middle of a course of taking (Grende)Thermo Detonator. Can i be both at the same time I am trying to shed a stone or so but i have been told that i will retain water when taking the creatine and i am not sure if this will keep the weight on Many thanks Gary |
Answer | Hi Gary
Yes creatine monohydrate does retain water, it is usually stored in the muscle cell cytoplasm, therefore making muscle cells larger in size. Taking both supplements at the same time is absolutely fine as you can still lose bodyfat whilst retaining water. However the scales may not be as affected i.e. you may not notice the weight loss so go off what the mirror is telling you.

Question | Hi, Is it truly necessary to take this supplement with a simple carb source for maximum benefits i usually take it with whey protein only post workout, without any simple carbs. i then have a meal about an hour later with protein and carbs. are simple carbs post workout truly necessary Thanks for your advice, Sean |
Answer | Hi Sean. Not, it is not necessary, despite what some people may say, studies have shown monohydrate will be efficiently present in the muscle cells without a simple carb source to transport it there. |

Question | Hello mate, you recommended that i include reflex creatine into my diet. I have nearly finished my Boditronics mass gainer and was thinking should i buy another tub or should i buy the nutrisport 90+ protien as i have heard a lot about this supplement. Also during the loading week and maintenance can i mix the creatine with the protien (should i use milk or water) as i tend to have a protien shake in the morning and post workout(post workout i will only use protien). Also during the loading week it says that you should have it 4 times a day, should i have my last dosage before my workout of can i have it during it. What is best recommended I think that should be it with the questions and thanks for your valuable input......oh yeah i forgot the description says that you should not use creatine for more than 8 weeks and do not proceed again after 4 weeks of not using it....any reason why |
Answer | Hi Donnie
During loading phases you should take creatine in 4 seperate 5g dosages it helps efficiently transport creatine into your muscles (coupled with simple sugars). I would recomend having creatine both prior and after training as this ensures your creatine phosphate stores are saturated before training and get immediately replenished after training. Taking creatine for prolong periods will make your body start to reduce its own natural production of creatine so it is always best to cycle creatine supplementation to ensure this does not occur and also to get the best gains possible.
regarding protein it all depends on your goal, both are excellent choices however the boditronics weight gain product will have more calories and carbohydrates so if you aspire to gain size stick with this, you need the extra calories to grow. if you want to start getting leaner switch to 90+ as it contains hardly any carbohydrates or fats. |

Question | Hi. I currently use USN creatine X4 (and im really happy with the results). I was wondering if I could use creatine mono after i train with my post workout shake or would this be too much creatine. Thanks for your help. |
Answer | You should be able to use up to 10grams of creatine daily and still have good results. Of course, it's dependant on your bodyweight and the dosage would fluctuate likely according to this. If you're really happy with the results though you may already have a winning formula that doesn't need to be changed. |

Question | hi, i am currently taking bsn no xplode which contains creatine ethyl ester (cee) (2 scoops on training days and 1 scoop on non-training days). I am also taking reflex creatine and i am currently on 4th day of my loading phase taking 5g 4 times per day. my main health concern is whether i should be taking two different types of creatine, cee and monohydrate at the same time thanks |
Answer | I wouldn't take the N.O Xplode on your non-training days for starters - this way you're likely to get less immune to the stimulants, save your money and have a more effective pre workout product. It also contains a minimal amount of creatine, so you should be absolutely fine. Creatine has been ran at very high dosages before in studies and still been effective and safe. |
