Question | Hi I recently bought instant whey muscle and size as i was recommended it. I have quiet a lot of body fat to loose and am looking to loose around 1-2 stone but I really want to tighten up my body. Will this help me do so and will it help me loose body fat I am on a healthy diet and work out around 6 times a week both cardio and weights etc. I m just worried taking this will bulk me up. Whey protein simply repairs and strengthens your muscles, it will indeed help you lose weight as it will constantly feed your muscles. This means when your body needs fuel it will not be able to eat your muscle and will have to look for alternatives which will be empty calories and bodyfat. |

Question | I have been using Reflex Diet for the past month in addition to going the gym four times a week. I have noticed weight loss and muscle gain, though I m not totally sure whether this is down to the supplement or just the exercise. Instant whey is a great protein supplement you can use for a variety of purposes, however I would advise sticking with diet protein and after glow. A weight gainer would be the easier option as it provides a mixture of carbohydrates and protein topping up the calorie content of each shake, however using the instant whey you currently have you want to consume at least 1.5g-2.0g of protein per kg of bodyweight. Dosage is entirely up to yourself but try to have the shake in between meals so you body is constantly fed protein and always take it after a workout too. |

It sounds like you want to bulk up and add lean muscle whilst also losing bodyfat. The reality is that this is a very difficult and complicated approach, what is a lot easier and in the long run will give you better results is to focus on one goal first then the other later, for example maybe bulk up over the winter months with a high calorie shake such as instant mass. Then try to keep your muscle mass but remove fat using a high protein shake but reduce overall calorie intake to burn the bodyfat to reveal more definition in your core muscles. |
