Question | I recently bought a tub of 90+ protein and reading these q+a I m reading a lot about afterglow. Am I able to mix these together and use at the same time or do I have to pick one. I was thinking I could get away with a shake in the mornin and after glow after the gym. Thanks |

Including glutamine which boosts your immune system which is vital for your body to respond properly to nutrients and for a healthy metabolism. However if your diet lacks in protein I would recommend taking the diet protein 2-3 times throughout the day. In an ideal world you would use both products. |

Answer | Hi Sam Afterglow is designed to be the fastest acting recovery drink, therefore you would use it only for your post workout needs. After an hour of consuming it you should eat again so if you are not consuming a meal within this time go for your usual weight gain shake. Try to take after glow in addition to your current supplement routine so if you were previously using the weight gain shake for post workout needs also try to get this serving in your diet throughout the day or whenever it is conveeniant. |

Answer | Hi Matt after glow should always and only be consumed after training. it is partially digested and provides the fastest acting protein and carbohydrates so the half an hour window after training is the ideal time to take it. You should eat within an hour of consuming after glow so if you cant get a meal down you that would be ideal, if not take your second mutant mass shake an hour after consuming your after glow. |

Answer | Hi Burt, after glow would be absolutely fine to take after both sessions no problem. If you are lifting heavy then i would advise to also use a whey that you can take once or twice during the day to help your body repair, Instant whey by reflex is a high quality yet reasonably priced source of whey protein, but definately stick to afterglow for your post training needs as nothing comes close to it. |

Then you could use muscle fuel anabolic during the day as you will still need quality calories and nutrients to help you build and repair. After glow is only designed to take after training whilst muscle fuel anabolic can be taken multiple times a day. |

Answer | Hi Wlodek, From what you have wrote here that seems absolutely fine. You can also take your bcaa's directly after training to maximise your recovery and strength gains, just make sure you are getting plenty of rest also and you will be fine. |
